29 GIFTS CHALLENGE

I have been inspired by the 29 Gifts Challenge web site
http://www.29gifts.org/index.html
as well as others who have taken up the challenge to also participate in this.
It looks like we will be moving house within the next month, so I have started decluttering and sorting through my mountains of craft stuffs !! There are a lot of craft supplies that I know in my heart I will not get to use even if I live to be 100 !! so its time to gift them to other like minded crafts people who I know will appreciate them.
This how it will work -
Make a comment on this post on my blog .
You will also need to email me your name and addy to
dougandwendyp@xtra.co.nz
with 29 GIFTS in subject line.
THIS IS OPEN TO EVERYONE WORLDWIDE - but due to postage costs - those living outside of New Zealand will get smaller and flatter envelopes full of craft supplies than those living within NZ
Each day from 5 April I will randomly pick one comment from this blog post and mail out an envelope of craft goodies to that person.
All I ask in return is an email or comment on my blog when you receive it.
My craft interests are varied so the supplies are varied too !!

I hope you will all think this is a fun thing to participate in too !
So what are you waiting for - leave a comment and email me with your address details NOW !!!
smiles W

The Pink Elephant Challenge #5

This weeks challenge over at the Pink Elephant Challenge Blog is

PINK GREEN AND BROWN

The card I made today for the challenge is for a good friend of mine who loves frogs and is unwell at the moment.

SOME NEW ATC'S and more ...

Made these atcs a couple of days ago to send as raks.

Also I am in a couple of circle journal page swaps which are so much fun as everyones theme is so different. These pages are for a "ladies theme"

Hoping to find some time soon to get back into doing some scrapbooking again - still have so many photos we took on our vacation to the USA in 2007 that I want to do scrapbook pages for.

Weather is getting noticably cooler in the evenings which I guess signals summer is almost done. At least, as someone rightly pointed out, with us going to the USA on vacation in June, we will be able too have 2 summers

GREAT WAY TO SPEND A MORNING

What a lovely peaceful way to spend a Sunday morning with a walk along the beach.
I took these photos this morning at Wenderholm Beach, about 5 mins drive from where we live.
Then we went down to Orewa Beach and had lunch at Mcdonalds. This is a view of the beach from the look out above. Orewa is about a 15 minute drive from where we live.

The challenge this week over at The Pink Elephant Challenge blog is

Ribbons and Die Cuts

I had a lot of fun this morning making this card using my spellbinder sets and swiss dots embossing folder in my cuttlebug. The flower is from a set I brought over at Fred She Said Digital Designs.
