FEATHERING CHALLENGE ON MAD FOR MARKERS

This morning in my "blog surfing" I came across a great blog called Mad for Markers  and found a new technique shown there (new to me !!) called feather blending.
They are having a challenge using this technique also.
So.... what better way to spend a dreary, wet winters day, then to play with my copics and try this technique out.
Here is the resultant card using copic markers - R20 blush and Y11 pale yellow.
Was lots of fun making this card and this is definitely a technique I will be trying again !

SCRAPBOOK LAYOUTS USING KASZAZZ PRODUCTS

Its a lovely sunny but cool winters day here - perfect for creating some scrapbook layouts.

This first layout goes together with the card I made and uploaded in a previous post a few days ago.
The photo is of my Mum and Dad on their wedding day <soft smiles>

Next layout is a birthday themed one of my son's 8th birthday - lol he is coming up 25 later on this year - so scrapping these photos sure brought back a lot of memories !!

And this one is from our first vacation to America - we stayed a week at Gettysburg in PA - and had some old time photos taken while we were there.

And lastly some photos taken last weekend at the Crafts Alive Expo here in town, where the local Kaszazz consultants had a stand.

If you are interested in ordering any of the Kaszazz products used in these layouts,

As I said in a previous post, I got all inspired watching the video clips over at Teesha Moores blog on how she makes her fabric journals

http://teeshascircus.blogspot.com/

Well I am now on to Stage 2, after making up my little "pillows" and hand quilting them, I have sewn them together to make my fabric journal cover

Heres some photos :
