HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY TO ME

Its been a YEAR since I first posted on my blog !!!
So much has happened in the past year - both good and not so good - but through it all with the support of family and friends I made it through. Adversity has made me "stronger" not in a bad way but it has made me more appreciative of all I have in my life - mainly people not things ! And not to "sweat the small stuff." I have truly found Life is a journey not a destination and you need to make the most of every single day.

Anyways enough of my ramblings - smiles - to celebrate my blogoversary I have some "surprise" giveaways . Anyone who leaves a comment, until 10 January on this post, telling me about one New Years Resolution they have made and kept so far, will go into 3 draws to win one of my "surprise" giveaways. Please include your email address in your comment so I can contact you if you win.

Congratulations on a year of blogging!!!!

This year I have resolved to put things in perspective. My only New Year's Resolution is to pray daily for my patients and the medical staff that is treating them. I hope I never get so busy that I don't find time to stop and pray.

Congratulations on a year of blogging!!
I didn't make any formal resolutions for this year; just a
mental note to try to be nicer and
more patient. I get so stressed some days that I find myself becoming short with people; especially those closest to me. At least I'm aware of the problem and hope to work on it daily!

Congratulations on your anniversary, Wendy.
Interestingly, my one resolution was to spend less time on my computer! So far so good - I've cut my keyboard time down, which is a good thing, but I am having a few withdrawals!

Wendy, I can't believe it's been a year already. Good for you and congrats! As far as New Year Resolutions, I made one to paint large size paintings as opposed to ATC's. I'm trying for at least one a month. So far, 4 and and a half. Good, huh?
I love your cards.

a commitment to read my Bible daily devotional every day. January is "Dreams". When your "Hero" came on it made me cry, not sure why.

CONGRATS on your one year blogoversary Wendy.

A goal of mine this year is to be more frugal. I aim to try alot more new recipes and do more cooking from scratch. I also want to use more of my scrapbooking and card making stash. This has been going really well to date.

My resolution is to finally loose the weight I've been working on for the past few years - but I have a great goal to aim for - visiting home for Dad's 60th birthday - I have 10 months so it is totally achievable!

I don't make resolutions but lately I have been telling myself that I should use a lot of the craft supplies that I have bought, even the really nice papers. They really aren't much use just sitting around being admired :-)

Hi Wendy.
My e-mail address is
jamlrise@comcast.net

My New Year's Resolution is to reclaim my time to be creative and go back to watching my weight. I started doing a lot of overtime at work and it really cut into taking care of me. I am going to limit my overtime so I have time again for the things that matter.

Hi Wendy
Yes it has been a 'rocky' 12 months. I am so pleased you have come through it all. My resolution is to try and make a card a day for the year. So far I've made 18 so I have a few up my sleeve for days I don't have time to create LOL.
Congratulations on your Blogoversary.

Hi Wendy,

This is the first time I've visited your blog, but we have exchanged ATC's. My resolution is to be more consistent with my triathlon training and I'm happy to say I haven't missed any sessions so far.

Congratulations!!

I have made a goal to promise myself not to be too hard on myself, and especially on my artwork!!
Sometimes we are our own worst critics!.
Through the support of artful friends, friends and fellow bloggers I hope this goal will be fulfilled, so I can be confident enough to chase my dreams :)

New Year - New Resolution -

Better Posture, my goodness I slouch too much when sitting and standing. Being aware is the first step and I do find myself standing/sitting taller, especially as I notice how much everyone slouches! Stand Tall in 2009!!!

Congrats on your blog anniversary. I have made several goals for this year. One is to do more of my own art than to get caught up in challenges etc.
I am doing the soul journal prompts and keeping an art journal along with my personal journal. My journals are made and I have started to fill them. The new year is off to a good start.

Happy blogaversary to you! I haven't taken that plunge yet. I didn't make any real resolutions, but am trying to tame my clutter and make more art and to use what I have on hand before I buy more.

Congrats on inspiring us with this site for the last year. My new years resolution is to not feel guilty about crafting when I could/should be going something else.I have figured out if I plan things right that if I can do as much odd jobs and gardening done and I cool off by coming inside during the hottest hours and think/plan craft outlays for cards even if I don't get around to it that day. susievb@gmail.com

I have just strted reading your blog and have become inspired by the way you have dealt with your challenges. I have been doing haemodialysis now for 5 years due to an unfortunate "event" and scrapbooking and cardmaking have been my saviour. My new resolution is the same as it is every year to keep a positive attitude. My motto is "Some people walk in the rain, others get wet"
