SQUIGGLEFLY CHALLENGE #74

Welcome to this week's Squigglefly challenge - #74
This weeks challenge theme is MUSIC TO MY EARS  !
Use ANY Squigglefly image !!
There are always FREEbies available at their store!
In fact for this challenge I have used one of the freebies - called Daily Twitter a freebie from Revi Devi Paat.

Before printing out the digi image, I typed in Happy Birthday to you into the speech bubble. The image has been coloured using copic markers; distressed around the edge and inked using Distress ink; matted onto pink cardstock which is then matted on to a piece of sheet music; which has then been affixed onto the pink base card.  The rest of the base card has a strip of pink cardstock affixed to it; then a small strip of cuttlebug embossed darker pink card has had a piece of pink ribbon tied around it before being affixed to it.  Embellishments are self adhesive pearls placed along the thin strip of pink card at the bottom and also smaller pearls placed on the eyelash and tail of the bird.
Don't forget to check out the other DT members creations for this weeks challenge !

The challenge theme for this week is Holiday Colour Mix Up - make a Christmas card using a different holiday's colour theme.
To enter the challenge please head on over to the Challenge blog for all the details.

I decided to do a "down under" Australian spin to my Christmas card for this challenge and use Halloween colours - i.e. orange and black.
The digi image "Splashin' Fun Ollie Duck" has been coloured using water colour crayons and a water brush, cut around and placed on to orange, black cardstock and patterned paper.
The patterned paper is part of a great Sunny Christmas themed paper pack being sold by Toucan Scraps in the store as well. This has all been affixed on to the card front base of orange and a computer generated greeting has been matted with orange and black and affixed to the card using pop dots.
