This morning in my "blog surfing" I came across a great blog called Mad for Markers  and found a new technique shown there (new to me !!) called feather blending.
They are having a challenge using this technique also.
So.... what better way to spend a dreary, wet winters day, then to play with my copics and try this technique out.
Here is the resultant card using copic markers - R20 blush and Y11 pale yellow.
Was lots of fun making this card and this is definitely a technique I will be trying again !

Wow that blending is so suttle, it looks just like my roses in my garden. I'm going to go and check out the tutorial. Thanks for the heads up.
