It's New Years eve day here - a day always of reflection for me

 - looking back, looking forward ....

And today was a perfect day to finish off a project I started 

- from a self paced class over at BigPictureClasses.com 

called Permission to Live a Creative Life by Courtney Welsh.

It's a fun and thought provoking class 

- and you end up with a lovely, personalised mini book.

Every year for the past 5 or so years,

on one of the online craft groups I am in,

we have a CD calendar page swap.

I always end up with a fantastic CD calendar 

to look at through the year.

October and November to create

Inspired by Pinterest

Well for the official 2nd day of summer, its decidedly overcast here today

which makes it a good day (and excuse) to catch up on some swaps

here in my craft room !!

This card has the theme 

"inspired by pinterest"

The swap hostess asked the swap participants

to choose one of the cards she has pinned on her

Pinterest page and use it as inspiration to 

make a card to mail to our partner

I'm kind of back !!

Moving is never that much fun 

and combine that with your computer

 failing to boot back up after the move

- makes for an even greater time - NOT !!

But I am slowly getting everything reloaded on to my new 'puter

and slowly getting boxes unpacked and 

the house looking more like a "home"

and my craft room here, 

to being a space where I love to come and play !!
