MY FIRST FABRIC JOURNAL - STAGE 2

As I said in a previous post, I got all inspired watching the video clips over at Teesha Moores blog on how she makes her fabric journals

Well I am now on to Stage 2, after making up my little "pillows" and hand quilting them, I have sewn them together to make my fabric journal cover

Heres some photos :

Next stage will be to make the inside pages and sew them into the journal and lastly embellish the spine and front cover.

That is wonderful Wendy. No wonder you have been so quiet...just been a busy little beaver. Great job.

I've seen that video and was thinking of making one too. Gotta use up some of my huge fabric stash.

I love the way yours came out.

Oh Wendy it's beautiful! I have some lovely material swatches that might come in handy for something like this too! If only I could sew... TFS!
